We get most of our sloes from North Yorkshire, some coming from the farmland immediately around us. Sloes can be fickle fruit, largely due to weather in the spring influencing the flowering, so sometimes we have to cast our net further afield into other counties of Britain.

We have a dedicated team of hardy sloe pickers, so if you aren’t amongst them and would like to be, please get in touch, wherever you are in the country.  We pay by the kilo. We really love sloe pickers.

In the future we’d like to secure our supply from specifically grown sloe crops from around the country so if you are a farmer and would like to talk about growing for us we’d especially like to hear from you.

Remember, sloes can only come from hedges that are managed well for the environment and wildlife.  Don’t cut your hedges every year.
