You’ll find us at the Wakefield Rhubarb Festival from the 21st Feb – 23rd Feb, where the town turns pink and celebrates their famous rhubarb heritage during the 3-day festival.
We launched Hedgerow Gin with Rhubarb and Raspberry in Spring 2018 and what a cracker it has been! With our roots deep in the Yorkshire countryside, we wanted to champion rhubarb, the local celebrated product. It was so good that it was even voted Best Yorkshire Spirit 2018 in Deliciously Yorkshire Taste awards.
The delicate fruit and floral notes in our Hedgerow Gin made the choice of rhubarb and raspberries an easy one. The rhubarb adds a tangy pleasantness and the raspberries a subtle sweetness, both providing a pinkish hue to boot. It’s a perfect G&T with Elderflower Tonic and plenty of ice, garnished with a sprig of mint and some raspberries.
